My family and other Animals... and sunglasses.

About 5 years ago I saw an review in Vogue about a bbc movie called My family and other animals, It was about a bohemiem esc english family that decided to move to Corfu on a whim and a fancy in the years leading up to WWll.

Years went by and I'd almost forgotten about it, but last summer I discovered the movie at my local Civic and watched for the first time, then after that I watched it about five more times. Me and my flatmates became somewhat obsessed with It, the lifestyle that they lead was just so bohemian and cool.
Unfortunately after our week with the DVD was up we were forced to return it, and when we went back to rent it again a couple of months later the video man said the copy had been lost.

I thought that i'd never see it again, but last week in an effort to avoid my growing fines at my regular video store I vetured to Video Easy and discovered it once again.

Watching it made me fall in love with it all over again, the costuming in the movie is pretty awesome but I have especially fallen in love with Larry's sunglasses, they are pretty sweet.

While looking on the Department Store website I found these babies they're Chronicles of Never sunglasses that defiantly say "Yeah Im living a bohemian life on a greek island, so what".

I defiantly recommend the movie and defiantly recommend these sunglasses, $395.00 from Black Box at The Department Store.

Send me something. Send you something.

This could be a sad reflection on my life but today I quite possibly stumbled upon one of the most exciting things EVER!

I LOVE getting mail, especially stuff that's not from the bank so I was ridiculously excited when I found this little gem sendmesomething.org.

I'm sure it's something that I should be more than slightly suspicious of but this website, which has little more than the message "If you'd like me to send you something, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to this address" is so intriguing that I don't care.
